Directly from the campsite Andechs there are numerous possibilities to explore the surroundings – whether on foot, by bike or even to some destinations directly by public transport. The corresponding maps are available on site at any time.

Many of our guests come to us with their four-legged friends. Dogs are more than welcome here and directly from the campsite you can go for long walks along beautiful, winding paths. The daily schedule in Andechs includes strolling through the woods, enjoying the blossoming meadows and sniffing the fresh country air.

A large, signposted network of paths starts directly from the campsite. Smaller and bigger tours, sometimes hilly, sometimes flatter – for the big, sporty challenge or rather small walks there is something for everyone. All five lakes invite you to stay

Our plots are slightly gravelled. Directly adjacent to the plots is a large meadow, which is suitable for breakfast, sunbathing and relaxation. We have 40 pitches with electricity (10A), which can also accommodate long motorhomes and caravans

Andechs is situated in the beautiful Five-Lakes-Land and has direct bus connections to the most beautiful places at the Starnberger See and Ammersee. In numerous cafés you can look out over the water and simply relax. Of course, there are also many places to go swimming for a little cooling off on hot days.

Or how about a little steamboat trip?

The Rose Island is situated in the Starnberg Lake at the height of the so-called „Glockensteg“, which is about halfway between the villages Possenhofen and Feldafing. The Rose Island convinces especially with its impressive gardens and parks – even with its own little castle. It is not without reason that fairy-tale king Ludwig II. received high-ranking guests here – among others Empress Elisabeth.

There are numerous castles in the region: in the courtyard of Seefeld Castle there are several small craft shops and a large beer garden. Wonderful views can be enjoyed from the castle garden of the former Starnberg Castle. And in the castle Possenhofen in Pöcking you walk on the traces of Sissi.

Numerous museums are especially suitable for a visit if the weather is not as good as planned. Besides the Carl Orff Museum in Dießen, the most famous museum in the region is possibly the Buchheim Museum in Bernried. Especially friends of expressionism will get their money’s worth here. But there are also arts and crafts from all over the world to admire.

The Starnberg-Ammersee region has the highest density of golf courses in Germany. Here you can golf with a lake view and alpine panorama. As a partner of the tourism association, you will receive your personal golf card when you stay overnight on our motorhome parking lot. This will give you a 20% discount on the daily green fee on the surrounding nine golf courses.

Small towns such as Starnberg, Herrsching or Tutzing can be reached directly from the car park by public transport. There, numerous cafés invite you to stay and there are short tours to explore the area.
